Revs. Chris and Ahleshiah Deegear, along with their children, have faithfully served as Pastors since 2017.
Rev. Chris Deegear was born and raised in the Dallas, Texas area and later moved to Jeffersonville, Indiana at the age of 12. Rev. Ahleshiah Deegear was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The two met in 2003 and were married in March of 2004 at Christ Gospel Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Both Revs. Deegear have served in numerous roles and ministries within the Church. In 2013, they felt the clear call of God into pastoral ministry. After serving as Associate Pastors for three years, they were sent forth to pastor in 2017, where they continue to serve with faithfulness and dedication.
They are the proud parents of four children—three sons, Caidyn, Ethan, and Grayson, and one daughter, Mckenna.
Revs. Deegear have spent the majority of their lives in and around ministry, serving the Lord with sincerity and humility. They have a deep love for God’s people and a strong desire to see believers grow “unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13). They count it a great honor and privilege to serve the Lord and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Revs. Deegear are the Founders and Pastors of Remnant Tabernacle. They also hold deep gratitude and respect for their spiritual mother, Rev. B. R. Hicks, whose biblical teaching and spiritual leadership have profoundly influenced their lives since childhood, guiding them into a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.
